February Update

We got the trail from Kam Lake to YK Bay Groomed, well at least smoothed off a little. It will still need some work and I will make a few passes on Tuesday night with the groomer.

Awesome ride on Sunday, Unfortunately we lost one machine with a clutch problem. Steve Leck gave a great presentation on first aid when we stopped for lunch. Not only do you have to take care of the injured party but you also have to keep them warm as well as get transportation to medical attention. Most important thing is make the injured party belief that you are in control and know what you are doing. We went up through Walsh, Banting, Likely, Oro, Milne then over to the Vital Lake trail, up to Duckfish, over o the Quyta rapids and back to YK through Greyling, Homer, Banting and Walsh. Most trails were pretty good and some of the lakes were okay. Walsh is getting beat up with vehicle and quad traffic and Duckfish was rough.

Hope everyone had a safe weekend.

Next Club meeting is on Feb. 9. 7:30 PM at the PSAC office on 48th across  from Shoppers. This is an important meeting as we will be discussing the Long John Jamboree and the Making Tracks Poker Derby.
